Why do we need yet another library in Dickinson?

Presidential Libraries are not libraries in the usual sense. They are archives and museums, bringing together in one place the documents and artifacts of a President and his administrations, and presenting them to the public for study and discussion. For most visitors, the Presidential Library is more museum than library. Through traditional and technologically-enhanced exhibits, visitors explore the life and legacy of an American President.
